Welcome to Riverstown Cricket Club!

We proudly announce that we have established a new cricket club in Riverstown area by the name of Riverstown Cricket Club.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to promote not only the cricket

but also create harmony and relationship among different nationalities. In this regard we really appreciate the efforts and support of local community specially
Martin Baker Councilor, Sean McDermott and Ivor Parkes.

At Riverstown Cricket Club we provide support for players of all ages. We proactively support the "Spirit of Cricket" whilst maintaining an environment that encourages a balanced mix of individuality and teamwork.

First Ever Match

On Sunday 1st of August 10, Riverstown Cricket Club played its first match against Ballaghadrreen.

Ballaghaddrreen won the toss and decided to field first.
Faisal Ahsan and Rashid Waseem opened the innings.
Zahid Waseem batted well and made twenty one runs.
Riverstown was bold out at the total of 111 runs. Apparently it looked an easy target to chase but the brilliant bowling performace by Thomas, Waqar, Monty and Qamar.
Ballaghadrreen was bowld out at the total of 55 runs.
Thomas got 4 wickets, Waqar got 2 wickets and Monty and Qamar got 1 wicket each.
Thomas was declared man of the match.
